OUR COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK POLICY

Galactic Scribble LLC is committed to respecting intellectual property rights and follows applicable United States laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We also address infringement notifications from other jurisdictions.

REPORTING INFRINGEMENTS

To report any alleged infringement, please contact us at help@galacticscribble.com. Your notice must include the following details to comply with the DMCA:

  1. Signature: An electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright or intellectual property owner.
  2. Description of Work: A clear description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are affected, provide a detailed list.
  3. Location of Infringing Material: Specific details on where the allegedly infringing material is located on our site to help us identify it.
  4. Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. Good Faith Statement: A statement asserting your good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright or intellectual property owner, their agent, or the law.
  6. Accuracy and Authorization Statement: A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright or intellectual property owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

    Upon receiving a valid infringement notification, Galactic Scribble LLC may remove or disable access to the material in question. We will make reasonable efforts to inform the user responsible for the allegedly infringing material about its removal and provide them with a copy of the notice.

    Failure to provide all the required information may render your notice invalid, and we may disregard such notices without liability.

    RESPONDING TO INFRINGEMENTS

    If you believe that your material has been mistakenly removed or disabled, you can file a counter-notice by providing the following information to help@galacticscribble.com:

    1. Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the user.
    2. Identification of Material: Details of the material that has been removed or disabled and its location before removal.
    3. Good Faith Statement: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
    4. Contact Information and Consent: Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address, or any judicial district where Galactic Scribble LLC is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notice.

      If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may notify the original complaining party and restore the removed material within 10 business days unless the original copyright owner files a court action against the allegedly infringing party.
